Zondag 3 oktober spelen we met de Ruud Weber Band ft Guitar Ray & Fokke de Jong in de Stam Almelo. aanvang: 18.30 uur.
Ruud Weber presenteert Raymond ‘Guitar Ray’ Nijenhuis en Fokke de Jong. Drie mannen met allen een reputatie in de blues & roots scene. Ruud en Fokke kennen we van King of the World maar ook van hun internationale werk met Matt Schofield (UK), Snowy White (UK), David Gogo (CAN), JB Meijers (NL), Normaal (NL) en vele andere. Guitar Ray speelde, naast zijn eigen Guitar Ray & the Rhythm Dukes, met artiesten zoals Charlie McCoy (USA), Duke Robillard (USA), Swingmatism (NL), The Juke Town Allstars (USA), Enrico Crivellaro (IT), Charlie McCoy (USA) en Sam “Bluzman Taylor (USA).
Ondanks drukke agenda’s komen deze heren bij speciale gelegenheid bij elkaar om hun gedeelde liefde voor blues- rhythm & roots te vieren. Eigen werk afgewisseld met klassiekers, veelal meerstemmig gezongen, om je vingers bij af te likken. 3 oktober Stam Almelo
